Nassau County District Court Opens Commercial Landlord Tenant (Eviction) Part
In an effort to alleviate the back log of cases, on September 13, 2021 the Nassau County District Court opened a Commercial Landlord Tenant (Eviction) part dedicated to hearing commercial eviction cases (both non-payment and holdover matters). This part operates at the Hempstead courthouse most weekday afternoons with cases being heard beginning at 2:00pm.
